Akhnoor/Jourian June 5: A two-day festival is being organized on Shani Jayanti on 10th and 11th June at the world famous Shani Dham located in Jourian area in Akhnoor sub division of Jammu District. According to the information received, today a meeting was called from the side of Shani Dev Seva Samiti, Jourian Registered Trust, in which it was decided that Shani Maha Utsav will be celebrated on 10th and 11th June. President of the committee, Abhishek Gupta while talking to the reporters said that every year this huge program is organized on Shani Jayanti, it has been postponed due to Corona epidemic last year.
He said that this year the program will be conducted according to the SOP prepared by the government. The program will be as follows: On June 10, Mah-Abhishek of Shani Dev will be done, after that special Covid19-free Havan Yagya and Kanya Pujan will be done and bhajan kirtan will be offered and on June 11 Shani Dev’s Vishal langar, which will make the devotees follow the rules in packing will be distributed. Abhishek Gupta has requested the administration to cooperate with the committee in this program so that this program can be successful on Shani Jayanti.
All the members of the committee were present during the meeting on this occasion.
